Haven’t done a blog post in a super long time. Instead I’ve been busy having a baby who is now 14 months old. Oh and…. a second baby is coming in 4 months. lol So busy a busy and I’m always looking for new activities, crafts and DIY projects to entertain her and just make life more fun!

Since Valentine’s Day ❤️ decorations are not essential we decided to make our own with salt dough. Valentine’s Day 💕tree here we come! Ornaments were made one day and painted the next.

What’s great is that you can do this for any season! We’re planning on doing this for Easter and Christmas too! just changing the shapes!

Recipe:

• 1 cup flour
• 1/2 cup salt
• 1/2 cup water

Instructions:

• Mix all ingredients together
• Use hands to form dough
• Cut out shapes with cookie cutters
• Make hole to insert string latter if planning on hanging (use a straw)
• Place on cookie sheet and bake for 30 mins at 300 degrees
• Paint/ Decorate your ornaments
• Hang and enjoy!
