You would think that chocolate chip peanut butter bars would be super unhealthy but these ones have a surprising twist… Chickpeas are the primary ingredient! Also there is no flour or refined sugars. All sugars are natural except for the chocolate chips 😛 These are gluten free and dairy free! You can even switch up certain ingredients to make this completely vegan. Here it goes!!

Ingredients

⁃ 1 can of chickpeas

⁃ 1/2 cup all natural peanut butter

⁃ 2 tbsp maple syrup

⁃ 2 tbsp honey

⁃ 1 tsp vanilla extract

⁃ 1/2 tsp salt

⁃ 1/4 tsp baking powder

⁃ 1/4 tsp baking sofa

⁃ Chocolate chips for topping

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

2. Spray pan with nonstick spray

3. Blend all ingredients in blender or food processor until smooth (except chocolate chips)

4. Pour into baking pan

5. Sprinkle with chocolate chips!

6. Bake for 18-30 minutes

7. Cool, cut and serve!!!

Storage: Best kept in fridge for firmer consistency.
